| 2012 Fishing in the year 2011. We had a cold winter to deal with and alot of wind in the spring, things just didn't look very good. The fishing was as good as I've seen it in 20 years. There were lots big Redfish in the Spring and the Fall. The Mackerel run started and the fish just kept on coming. The Trout spawn started in May and went all the way to the end of June. The phone kept ringing and the people kept coming. When September came it never slow down. It was one of the best years the Sarasota area has seen in a long time.
